Rank spokespeople and competitors over time

Use the Narrative Map’s bump chart with smart filters to see which spokespeople — or competitors — are leading the conversation, and how their ranking shifts over time. It makes a ready-made visual for your reports.

This works best over a longer date range — a month or a quarter — where more of your top people or brands come through and you can see how they move.

 Switch to the bump chart

  1. Open the Narrative Map.
  2. Select the bump chart visualisation. It ranks tags across your selected period.

 Filter to spokespeople

  1. Open the smart filters.
  2. Under entity categories, select Spokespeople only.
  3. The chart now shows when each person started appearing in the coverage and how their ranking has moved across the period.
